In May, "Hakushu" celebrated the 23rd birthday.

The history of "Hakushu" that started from the birth of "Hakushu 12 years" on May 10, 1994. That year has been piled up with the four seasons of the forest.

Hakushu forest I met in search of places where I can make use of the benefits of nature in the maximum for whiskey making. Today, a variety of sake brews keep pace with the grace of the forest within it.

"Share of Angels"

Whiskey liquor sleeping in the Yamazaki distillery's storage depot evaporates little by little from the grain of the barrel in a long time. If it comes to a barrel with a long maturation period, more than half will evaporate. However, along with that, sake goes on aging, becoming a whiskey with a deep flavor.

The predecessors thought that "Because we are drinking it with angels, we thought that we were able to get a delicious whiskey" and called the whiskey reduced from the barrel "Angels' share" I got it.

The sake brewers of the Yamazaki distillery also aged over a long, long time in a cradle called a barrel while gently watching over the angels living in the reservoir.
